Vigilance Event on Gender Equality at Paranthan

With the sponsorship of the Tamils Rehabilitation organization and organized by working women Development Foundation (WWDF) Gender Equality project was inaugurated on 15.06.2006 at Paranthan in the Kilinochchi District. Mr.Sabaesan presdent ot the Rural Development council, presided the function.

OXFAM funded for this project. The relevant speeches were delivered by the participants in connection with gender equality.

Mrs.K.Thevika, coordinator of WWDF, Mr.Kanakarajah Grama sevaka officer, Paranthan Gender Equality project Assistant, representatives of Women’s society and officials of NGO’s and people of different walks of life participated.
